Our suture material has non-traumatic needles, precision sharpened and specially designed to provide favourable cosmetic results. Furthermore, our needles have special bending (flexion) properties, resistance and hardness.
The Rockwell hardness of the needle assembled to Polypropylene is higher than the conventional needles. This allows excellent penetration and passage through calcified tissue or atheromatous plaques. ATRAMAT8 has special needles for cardiovascular use, which provide easy penetration of the tissue, keeping a uniform diameter in the thread-to-needle ratio. This helps to avoid filtration, and is ideal for vascular use.
